Had an awesome time shooting the Broncos / 49ers game tonight and witnessing history in the making with Peyton Manning’s new passing record! Most amazing NFL game I’ve shot, let alone been to, needless to say.
I’m pretty tired, though and have an early morning, so I am going to keep my captions short. But I hope you enjoy the photos!
First – that’s my good friend Lee Zink in the plaid shirt. He just finished an INCREDIBLE final season with the Outlaws, that included the league championship win and an incredible performance on Team USA. Check out my shots from his championship match: USA vs. CAN – it was an awesome game, despite the outcome.
Who’s this guy?
Here comes Thunder!
The always entertaining and sometimes controversial Wes Welker. I love controversial athletes!
Manning’s helmet.
Trace Adkins sang the National Anthem
I have seen this cop many times before and he is always chewing a ton of sunflower seeds.
The secondary theme of the game was… (WOMP WOMP)
Welker too fast for me to focus.
Fans were pretty serious in the early game.
Peyton about to make history.
Anticipation – watches to see if this pass will be his 509th… (it was)
You don’t see him smile very often on the field!
My good friend Rob Hawthorne. We shot Joe Buck’s wedding together!
Saw a lot of this for the rest of the game: Broncos kicking some serious ass.
Man down. Get well.
Cheerleaders broke out their 509 jerseys.
My least favorite person in the NFL. Got his snarky-whiny expression. Classic.
This is my new friend Dr. Chad! He’s the team neurosurgeon! I told him I’d try to pick a few shots of him.
I love shooting the bench when we’re ahead – good times being had!
There’s the man!
Coach Fox!
End of game shots of Manning walking off the field on a day he’ll surely never forget.
Congratulations Peyton Manning! I’m so excited I got to witness that!

Awesome photos. Thanks to Sal for showing them to me. Love my Broncos. Die hard fan in San Diego. I have been a fan since 1982 when I lived in Denver.
Outstanding! Well done, Son.
