Yesterday I had a great opportunity to do some shooting for US Lacrosse, who hooked me up with a media pass for the entire Lacrosse World Games.
Something else just as cool as that, is that my good friend Lee Zink, a Colorado Outlaw player, is also on team USA. It’s always fun to watch Lee in action.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from yesterday’s game against Iroqoui Nationals. Team USA came out victorious in a huge way with a HUGE 18-5 win!
These guys were pumped coming onto the field. “NO FLINCHING!”, something I heard right about as I was photographing this shot.
You’ll see a lot of shots of Lee (Zink), which is half the reason I like shooting these games.
First shot was a goal within seconds of the start of the game.
And then almost immediately after the celebration… another good shot!
Good shot of Lee in action!
Carnage photo.
The Iroquis Nationals are a tough and very physical team.
Lee doesn’t like it when people try to get past him to the goal. Defensive player of the year for the NLL
I found my wife, my son, and Lee’s wife, Kiera (and her son… or daughter… we will find out in December!) Oh and there’s Lee’s mom, too.
After beating the Iroquoi Nationals, Lee directed them all to the exit.
Quick shot with Lee and his proud wife, Kiera. The lady behind Kiera thought she was falling over the rail, I think!
Great job Lee, awesome job Team USA. See you in the final match on Saturday!!!
