Recently, I had the great pleasure of photographing a wedding for someone I graduated high school with! Amy even lived down the street from me, but I really didn’t know her at all. And then she worked at my bank for a while and I would see her almost every time I had to do some banking. And then next you know I am shooting her wedding! So cool how things happen!
They picked a beautiful venue for the fall season. The University of Denver looks spectacular when the leaves start to change! So I was having a blast. Enough of my yackety yack. Let’s enjoy their photos!
First, meet the bride and groom!
And now we rewind to the beginning. Amy was nice and relaxed and just ready to have a great day! There’s another girl I graduated with, too – Hi Joy!
“something old”
Cute babies in the house.
Time for a “first look”, when the bride and groom decide to see each other before the ceremony. I really enjoyed Robert. Just a super laid back guy who laughs a lot! Waiting patiently!
We also did a first look with Amy’s Dad!
Now I know where Robert gets his boisterous laugh from! It’s mom! Love this shot.
Guests are arriving!
It’s about that time!
And just like that, we’ve got a married couple!
Time for a party!
First Dance!
What an awesome time! Thanks so much for having me out to capture your day and a rousing ‘CONGRATS’ to Amy and Robert, the happy newlyweds!!!
