Engagement photos are interesting. Usually the bride wants some nice engagement photos and the groom is confused by the concept. As a former groom, I learned that some things, especially in anticipation of the wedding day, it’s good to just be a passenger and enjoy this crazy ride that the bride brings you on. And when a bride want’s to do something like pick out an invitation design or set out for “engagement photos”, it’s a great idea to say, “Yeah! That sounds great!”. 🙂 I remember years ago, my cousin Matt asked me what the point of engagement photos are. I gave him the best answer I could in man-terms, and I remember inside my head wondering if I’ll ever take HIS engagement photos. ha!
Luckily for you grooms out there, I get it. And my goal is to get some amazing shots that the bride will LOVE forever to celebrate their youthful days of love and bliss! For the guys: we move fast and we don’t spend too much time engaged in PDA. Quick and easy!
My cousin Matt was a natural and his bride, Angela is cool and fun and I’m really pumped for the both of them. A really, REALLY cool couple. And in May, I get to be their wedding photographer AND a groomsman. That’s a first! But don’t worry. I got this.
OK, if you have seen my blog, you recognize Matt from the previous post. But now you get to meet his life partner, Angela. Angela is also in the dentistry business, a hygienist!
These first two were taken at the Scottsdale Princess and this is exactly where they sat when Matt decided to get down on bended knee.
Like many creative types, I have ADD, so when I saw this bird, I got a little distracted and started photographing birds. haha But a wild looking bird, eh?
More birds. Hang on people, more photos of Matt and Angela are coming…
OK back to the love birds!
See you guys in May!
