Well, it’s that time of the year when I get a lot of requests for family photography. Everything is turning green and colorful, the sun is out, the air is warm, the birds are chirpin’ and the squirrels are teasing your cat in the back yard… and families are being photographed!
Now, I am more of a wedding photographer. Otherwise you’d see a ton of family photos on this site. However I LOVE photographing families! I just don’t advertise it much on my web site. There are great advantages for hiring a guy like me to shoot your family photos. First of all, I give everything away for pretty cheap: $250 this month. The price is cheap, for family photography but the quality is not. You get the photography AND a photo CD with your images edited, enhanced and ready to print! You ALSO get my hilarious blog posts like the one below, which was from last fall. 🙂 That is worth the $250 right there. 😉 Buy it now: Once you buy, we’ll work together to get you on the calendar. Or if you have more questions, just contact me through my contact page.
Anyway, that’s enough of the sales talk. Here’s the post from last fall. You can tell it’s old because it has my old clunky watermark that I used to use for blog posts. I want to make more posts like this one this summer!
Luke and Jess, and their son, Enzo are all in this little circle of friends between my new wife and myself! It’s always fun working with friends!
They are planning on moving out to Evergreen, Colorado, so it was fitting to do a session at Lair o’ the Bear Park in between Morrison and Evergreen. Some perrrty country out there.
And a perrrty family. Let’s check out their pics:
When they arrived, Enzo was crashed out in his car seat, so we took the opportunity to get a few shots of Luke and Jess…
As Luke is a burly woodsman and Jess is a dainty little fashionista, it only makes sense that the woodsman toss around his fashionista wife like a Harlem Globetrotter handles a basketball.
Jess’ hair was a little wet coming into this shoot. I recommend that women with long hair shower at least 2 hours before our photo shoot. Luckily, Luke was able to dry her hair by tossing her around into the fresh Colorado Mountain Air.
Her hair is still a little wet…
That ought to do it. Probably a good thing he caught her. Luke is pretty experienced at this. I have seen him toss his little man, Enzo, Gary, my doberman, a boxer named Lola, etc. He likes to toss living beings.
Luke should get a job at a beauty salon, drying hair. Look how great that turned out.
Enzo woke from his hibernation and we were all really happy to see that he was happy.
With kids this age, I will do whatever it takes to get a smile. Sometimes it means having the parents swing the kid…
(see, it worked)
I don’t know how to describe this expression. But it’s cute, so we’ll go with that.
Turns out a piece of wheat (or grass, whatever that is) is all Enzo needs to start smiling again.
