It’s always an honor to be asked to take photos for a colleague in the visual arts. That’s the biggest compliment ever, and I met Shawn a year or two ago, when I hired him to do some work for my photography school, Chimpsy:

He did an awesome job and I kept in touch with him ever since, as I do with people I know who do great work. So before I show you his photos, I need to plug his site, as he’s an incredibly creative editor, designer, photographer, etc! I don’t know the amount of contract work that Shawn does, but he does great work: www.shawnherbertdesign.com
So I was trying to remember Shawn and Aimee’s daughter’s name and I’m embarrassed to admit that I forgot it. So I had to do some stalking. In that, I found this incredibly cute video. As a new dad, it really hit home. Check it out
OK so now for the photos!
Meet Shawn, Aimee and Sonali, which translates to “gold” in Hindi.
Sonali, at 2 years old was as sweet and cute as ever. But if you know a two year old, they are on the GO! I found myself running trying to catch her!
I managed to catch her standing still a few times!
As you can see, the weather was perfect as well, following some really horrible rain and floods here in Colorado!
Thanks again you guys! I had a great time! Let’s do it again next year!
