Another awesome Boulder Country Club wedding!
I was really excited to head to one of my favorite shooting spots here in Colorado, and the fact that my wedding couple were incredibly nice helped, too.
As a wedding photographer, sometimes I wonder about really young couples. Like, are you SURE you’re ready? But I’m just a photographer. Not Dr. Phil. But I never wondered about these two. It’s so incredibly clear that they are meant for each other, I found it to be incredibly refreshing.
I don’t remember if it’s Dan or Alex or both of them who are in med school right now, but I’d trust either of them with a hip replacement. Hopefully I won’t need one of those any time soon, but you know.
No one wants to hear me babble. You just want to see the pretty pictures. And you want to meet Alex and Dan.
Love those coat hangers. Whoever invented them is making some bank. Good for them. They are cool. I loved the brides dress, and it’s not every day that I talk about the bridesmaids dresses. They were super cool!
Alex is getting her hair did.
I like the brown, upper right.
Mmmm Mmmm cake. And I couldn’t stop looking at this one. The attention to detail in that frosting was incredible.
Father of the bride was a bit of a goofball from Nederland, and I mean that in a great way. We need more goofballs. I’m one, admittedly.
Someone brought these pom-poms and the guests couldn’t get enough of them. During dinner I went back to an adjacent room to eat something and I kept hearing sudden burst of hooting and hollaring and I jumped up and ran out to photograph whatever it was that was happening, but each time, it was this group of people going nuts over the pom poms. Pretty funny.
This 80’s band played throughout the reception and they were really fun!
You can’t have this look and not be in an 80’s band.
…and the rest is history. Congratulations Alex and Dan!!!
